Slow down + Från källare till kök

Grupputställning

En utställning om tidens roll i arkitekturen. Tillsammans med CAFX har Form/Design Center bjudit in 24 kreatörer till grupputställningen Slow Down. Genom en öppen utlysning har vi sökt projekt och verk där aspekter kring tid är centralt – Projekt som belyser tempots grepp om våra liv. Här visas verk som dokumenterar och ifrågasätter hur hastighet blivit norm, men också sådana som öppnar för eftertanke och nya perspektiv. Genom både konkreta metoder och spekulativa idéer undersöker utställningen vad arkitektonisk långsamhet kan vara i vår samtid. Utställningen är ett samarbete mellan CAFx och Form/Design Center och är uppdelad i två delar. För att ta del av hela berättelsen uppmanas besökaren att sakta ner, ta sig tid och röra sig både över tid och rum.

An exhibition about the role of time in architecture. Together with CAFx, Form/Design Center has invited 24 practitioners to the group exhibition Slow Down. Through an open call, we sought projects and works in which aspects of time are central. The exhibition presents works that document and question how speed has become the norm, as well as those that encourage reflection and offer new perspectives. Using both concrete methods and speculative ideas, the exhibition explores what architectural slowness could mean in our time. The exhibition is a collaboration between CAFx and Form/Design Center and is divided into two parts. To experience the full story, visitors are encouraged to slow down, take their time, and move through both time and space.
