”This is not a museum” är en grupputställning med deltagare från Labbet, STPLNs utvecklingsprogram för kreatörer. Labbet är ettårigt initiativ för kompetensutveckling vars mål är att främja professionell tillväxt och samarbete samt utrusta kreativa individer med verktyg för hållbara karriärer.

Titeln är tagen ur en dagligen återkommande fras på Kommendanthuset, en anrik byggnad som STPLN flyttat till men besökare ofta misstar för en fortsatt del av Malmö Museer. Ett naturligt antagande, då huset har sin historia och plats. Detta är inte ett museum, men ni är varmt välkomna att kliva in i en samling verk skapade av vår grupp kreatörer.

“This is not a museum” is a group exhibit by participants from The Lab, STPLN’s development program for creators. The Lab is a year-long skill development initiative, aimed at fostering professional growth and collaboration, and equipping creatives with the tools for sustainable careers.

The show takes its title from a daily STPLN catch-phrase. The organisation recently relocated to Kommendanthuset, a heritage building situated between Malmö castle and the technology museum, whose appearance and location often fools passers-by and tourists into thinking there will be something to see. ”This is not a museum,” we always say — but this weekend, you can explore a collection of works by the Lab creatives.
