SE: Astrid och Elisabet undersöker genom sin textilkonst och måleri/kollage det livet som finns under ytan i den del av Malmö som är vårt hav, Öresund. Konstnärsduon är ofta ute på olika äventyr med sin gemensamma segelbåt och flytande ateljé Studio La Duchesse för att upptäcka Öresund utifrån olika perspektiv. Denna gången djupdyker vi ner i det blå för att lyfta upp och göra djur och växter som tillsynes är små till något stort i sin sanna bemärkelse. Under Gallerihelgen 2026 får du som besökare följa med under ytan under språngskiktet och ända ner till havets djup för att se vilka havsskatter som finns där. Årets utställning kommer belysa betydelsen av ett välfungerande ekosystem i havsdjupet för vårt välbefinnande ovan ytan i Malmö.

EN: Through their textile art and painting/collage, Astrid and Elisabet explore the life that exists beneath the surface of the part of Malmö that is our sea: Øresund. The artist duo frequently embarks on adventures aboard their shared sailboat and floating studio, *Studio La Duchesse*, to discover Øresund from various perspectives. This time, we dive deep into the blue to truly magnify—creatures and plants that might otherwise appear small. During the 2026 Gallery Weekend, visitors are invited to journey beneath the surface, past the thermocline, and all the way down to the ocean depths to discover the marine treasures found there. This year’s exhibition highlights the importance of a healthy deep-sea ecosystem for our own well-being above the surface in Malmö
